    • No longer thrusts tongue during feeding
    • Turns head away when full

 

 *Give your baby an extra spoon to hold, explore, and practice with while feeding.

*Let your baby become familiar and comfortable with cups by giving her cups to explore during play.

 

 

Parenting Tips
Your b
aby's high chair should have a waist strap that goes between his/her legs.  Make sure the buckle on the waist strap is easy to use.  The legs of the chair should be wide-set to avoid tipping over, and the tray should lock securely.
