Other Great Tips
*
Babies at this age love to put things in their mouths.
Make sure your baby's toys are non-toxic, free
from sharp edges or points, in good condition, and are large enough that your baby will not choke.

*Check stuffed animals and puppets for buttons or other smaller pieces on which your baby may choke.

*If a toy will fit inside the toilet tissue roll, it is too small and your baby could choke on it.

*Keep uninflated and broken balloons out of your baby's reach.  Balloons can cause suffocation if they
  are swallowed or inhaled.

*Always supervise your baby's play!
