everyday objects, such as hair-
brush, cup, and telephone
*Closely examines small objects
and details
*Plays with a toy for a few minutes
before losing interest

Motor Development
*Gets into sitting position from
tummy
*May crawl to get objects
*Pulls self to stand up
*Has good balance

Other Great Tip

*Be sure to keep your baby safe during bath time:
     *Always stay with your baby during the bath.
     *Keep one hand on your baby at al times.
     *Drain tub immediately follwing the bath.
     *Never let your baby go into the bathroom alone.
     *Always test water temperature before putting your baby in the tub.
     *Have a non-slip mat in the bottom of the tub.
     *Have everything you need for bath time within reach before beginning your baby's
       bath
     *Keep toilet lids closed.
